I've always liked creating things with my hands. I dedicated nearly a decade to fashion - drawing, constructing and crafting clothing. Following that, I opened a concept store where I sold items I personally enjoyed, glassware, ceramics, and jewelry. Eventually I missed creating things, so I began making jewelry. I love how crafting gets you to play, experiment, explore an idea without knowing its outcome. It is important to me because it's a deliberate, unhurried process where ideas evolve, transform, and lead to unexpected avenues. Also, I have a deep fascination with antiquity, which manifests in my work sometimes.
I worked for Rubin & Chapelle in NYC and had my own fashion brand, Pulver. I founded and curated the Süper Store. Thanks to Silke Spitzer, I was introduced to the wonderful world of goldsmithing and jewelry making and to metal casting by Peter Bauhuis. I am forever grateful for all of these experiences and people.
